The Company

CHIC thrives on working with neighborhood and community groups towards the effective utilization of community resources. CHIC is currently the onsite service provider for the residents of (HJ Russell Company) Villages at Castleberry Hill, located in the historic John Hope/Atlanta University Center Community. Community and Housing Initiatives Corporation (CHIC) was founded in 2002 and received its official designation as a non profit organization in January of 2005. From inception, CHIC has been working with individuals and communities to help educate and empower residents towards mobilizing and shaping their own communities. CHIC focuses within two areas of passion, community and housing initiatives. Currently, CHIC provides housing placement, referrals, education and training for individuals who are interested in moving towards home ownership. Ultimately CHIC plans to provide quality affordable housing solutions though a number of mixed used housing developments.
