Non profit organizations like Community and Housing Initiatives Corporation are dependant on contributions from generous people like you who want to do their part in supporting the great work that is being done in our communities. CHIC is a grassroots organization and works on that level with people on the street, people in low income housing, to people who make and change policy. From one end of the spectrum to the other, the work that happens at the GRASSROOTS level is what makes CHANGE possible. Please support us by making a regular and generous contribution based on your comfort level. Whatever your gift, know that it is important and appreciated! Become a community sponsor By becoming a community sponsor, your minimum donation of $25.00 will be used to sponsor one of our community programs. With a donation of $25.00 we can provide the materials and refreshments for an individual to attend one of our many educational workshop or training programs. You can specify your donation to a particular community program, or you can allow these funds to be directed to our general fund. We appreciate your commitment to our community and the services we provide to make sure that our communities are safe, healthy, and wealthy environments. All donations are tax deductible Become a Housing Sponsor Your minimum contribution of $25.00 will be used to support a individual or family with any variety of housing needs. Your contribution may help a mom with the security deposit needed to get into a new apartment or home, or your gift may pay for the cost of a gift basket prepared with basic staples a family when need when moving into a new place of residents. Your gift may also pay for the fee for a driver to help move a family into their new home. Either way your contribution will help give the peace of mind that comes with having a safe and stable place to call home. You can choose from making a one time or an ongoing monthly payment, where in each case you will receive information on how your contribution will be utilized. At your request, we can share information with our families about our donors and you may receive a special thank you note directly from one of the many children or families we serve. Make a one time contribution By making a one time contribution, your gift will help CHIC keep its doors open by providing the much needed support in the area of operating expenses. Serving so many families on a daily basis has basic costs that add up faster that you could imagine. This is one of our biggest areas of need because if our operating expenses are covered, we can freely continue to help the many individuals and agencies that we work with in an effort to create a better world.
